Aquaman is rapidly approaching and while there was some speculation among fans that Warner Bros. might consider delaying the movie due to strong competition from both Bumblebee and the PG-13 rated cut of Deadpool 2, that five-minute preview made it clear that’s not happening. As the studio continues to promote the movie, some cool variant comic book covers have now been revealed.
These are all illustrated by different artists, including Francis Manapul, Francesco Mattina, Lucio Parillo, Ben Oliver, Dale Keown, and Nicola Scott. They’ll be available as part of the Justice League: Drowned Earth crossover event and are sure to be highly sought after, especially as many put the spotlight on Jason Momoa in the comic accurate costume we saw in live-action at the end of the trailer.
Arthur Curry won’t be decked out in his classic comic book duds for all of the movie, that’s for sure. How do we know that? Well, for the most part, we’ve seen him wearing no shirt and just some jeans!
